Officials responded to a motorcycle crash on Oct. 22 on M-60 and westbound I-94 in Blackman Township that claimed a life.
The victim was identified as 49-year-old Jamie Brockwell.
According to Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety Director Mike Jester, Brockwell was driving a 2020 Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control on the westbound I-94 entrance ramp.
Brockwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash. Police said Brockman was restrained during the collision.
The crash is being investigated.
