48-Year-Old Woman Killed In A Pedestrian Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

Tucson police reported a pedestrian accident on Thursday night on Tucson’s south side, resulting in the death of a 48-year-old woman. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. when the woman attempted to run across West Irvington Road near South Sixth Avenue. 

According to the authorities, she was struck by a 2020 Dodge Ram pickup truck. Witnesses reported that the woman ran onto Irvington near a lighted crosswalk and tried to cross the street when the collision occurred. The victim was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim remains undisclosed at the moment.

Investigation into the fatal crash remains ongoing. The driver of the pickup truck, a 31-year-old woman, remained at the crash scene and cooperated with authorities.
