Authorities identified 48-year-old Eric Lamont Wadley who died after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday in Kingman.

The fatal motorcycle crash took place at about 5:14 p.m. in the 1200 block of E. Jagerson Ave. According to the investigation reports, a motorcycle was heading east on Jagerson Ave behind a four-door sedan. At some point of time, the motorcycle rider tried to pass the Sedan when the car slowed down to make a left-hand turn on a side street.

The motorcycle then crashed into the driver’s side of the vehicle as a result of which the rider was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcyclist, later identified as Eric Lamont Wadley, of Kingman, ended up in a concrete drainage ditch.

Wadley suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. Officials believe that alcohol was not involved in the crash. No criminal charges are pending at this time. No other details are available.

An investigation is continuing.
