According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, a fatal crash was reported on Friday night in Peoria. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on 99th Avenue from Northern Avenue to West Butler Drive. A motorcyclist driver was travelling northbound when a pickup truck made a right turn in front of the motorcycle. As a result of this, both vehicles collided with one another.
The motorcyclist was identified as 44-year-old Aaron Allen. Allen was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The officials have not disclosed any details regarding the occupants of the other vehicle.
Other details pertaining to the accident are yet to be determined. The crash continues to be investigated by the APD.
