A 41-year-old man lost his life after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday night in Garden Grove.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Chapman Avenue in Garden Grove. The early reports indicated that the rider was speeding as he headed westbound on Chapman approaching Loraleen Street at around 7:20 p.m., when he lost control. He landed in oncoming traffic and was struck by another vehicle.
Officials believe that alcohol and drugs were not involved in the accident, but they were awaiting toxicology results from the Orange County Crime Lab. The driver of the vehicle that hit the motorcyclist pulled over and cooperated with the authorities. No other information is available.
The incident remains under investigation.
