4-Year-Old Mia Preston Killed In A Pedestrian Accident In San Tan Valley (San Tan Valley, AZ)

In a heartbreaking incident, 4-year-old Mia Preston lost her life after being struck by a car in a San Tan Valley neighborhood. The tragedy unfolded around 5:15 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23, near Combs Road and Painted Desert Drive, as reported by the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene of the fatal crash and found Preston with serious injuries. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries after being transported to the hospital.

The Pinal County Vehicular Crimes Task Force is leading the investigation into the young girl’s death. While the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, it remains uncertain if any charges will be filed in connection with the pedestrian accident.
