Authorities identified 39-year-old Shawn Graham, from East Wenatchee, as the man who received injuries following a traffic accident Sunday north of Yakima.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash took place at around 9:15 am on I-82. The preliminary reports showed that a 2007 Suzuki DL1000 ridden by Shawn Graham was going eastbound on I-82 in the southern edge of Kittitas County when, for unknown reasons, it went off the roadway to the left and crashed in the median.
On arrival, emergency crews airlifted Graham by a helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle in unknown condition. Graham was reportedly wearing Washington Department of Transportation compliant helmet. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
