39-Year-Old Man Killed In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Tacoma (Tacoma, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a hit-and-run accident in Tacoma on March 30. The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. at milepost 132, north of the Tacoma Mall area.

According to the authorities, the fatal crash on Interstate 5 claimed the life of a 39-year-old man from Temple, Texas. The man’s vehicle was struck from behind by an unknown driver in a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, resulting in a collision that totalled both cars. As a result, the victim was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed at the moment. 

The unidentified driver fled the scene by carjacking a nearby white GMC Acadia. Trooper Dakota Russell confirmed the carjacking and stated that the investigation is pending. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played any role in the collision. No other details are available as of now.
