38-Year-Old Killed In A Motorcycle Crash In Whatcom County (Whatcom County, WA)

According to the Washington State Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday in Whatcom County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Interstate 5, south of Lake Samish Road. A 38-year-old motorcyclist was heading south in the northbound fast lane when he was struck by another vehicle.

The motorist was airlifted to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the other vehicle was identified as 25-year-old Julio C Jimenez. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known. 

The involvement of alcohol or drugs in the collision remains unknown. The crash continues to be investigated by the WSP.
