According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Wednesday afternoon in Santa Cruz County. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred north on Dimeo Lane, on Highway 1. The driver of a Kawasaki motorcycle made a left turn into the northbound lane when a 2001 Toyota Solara slowed down and also made a left turn.
The motorcyclist struck the left side of the Toyota. This resulted in the motorcyclist being ejected from his vehicle. The 34-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Other information pertaining to the accident is yet to be determined. His identity is not yet known at this time.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
