The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported a motorcycle accident in San Pedro On Sunday. The accident occurred in the 900 block of South Western Avenue, near the Deane Dana Friendship Park and Nature Center at around 5:49 p.m.
According to the officials, a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the crash are not yet known at this time.
The driver of the motorcycle was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner identified the victim to be 32-year-old Andrew Predis.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
