31-year-old man dead after a motorcycle accident in Detroit (Detroit, MI)

On Monday night, a 31-year-old man lost his life following a two-vehicle collision in Detroit.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on the Detroit-Southfield border at Eight Mile and Lahser. According to a witness, the motorcyclist disregarded a red light and crashed into the pickup truck. The F-150 had the right-of-way when the accident occurred.

The motorcycle was severely damaged after the collision while the passenger side of the truck had caved in. The 50-year-old driver of the truck remained uninjured whereas the 24-year-old passenger that was on the side of the crash was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
