According to the Laredo Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle crash.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on the 1800 block of Santa Isabel Avenue. Laredo Police reported that only one vehicle was involved in the wreck.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 30-year-old Eduardo Flores Amaro. Amaro was transported to Laredo Medical Center sustaining critical injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Other insights into the collision are yet to be determined. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The crash continues to be investigated by the LPD. There are no other details available at this time.
