A tragic fatal crash on Thursday evening claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Zion Hill Road. The motorcycle accident, reported by the Texas Department of Public Safety, unfolded around 6 p.m. in the vicinity of the 3500 block of Zion Hill Road.
According to preliminary findings, a Yamaha motorcycle, operated by 29-year-old Nathan Tullis, was signalling and slowing down to make a turn when a pickup truck, failing to control its speed, collided with the motorcycle.
The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the roadway. The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The officials later identified the victim to be Tullis.
The DPS indicates that the investigation is currently ongoing, and no additional details are available at this time.
