The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau identified the victim who had been killed in a motorcycle crash in Lake Mathews on Sunday. The accident occurred on Cajalco Road, west of Gavilan Road at around 9:30 p.m.
According to the officials, two vehicles were involved in the collision. 29-year-old Cody Rossello was driving his motorcycle on Cajalco Road when he crashed into an SUV. Rossello was fatally injured and was declared dead on-site.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
