In a tragic incident on Saturday night, a motorcycle collision near 7th Street and Apollo Road in south Phoenix claimed the life of 28-year-old Tristian Swain. Phoenix police responded to the motorcycle accident around 7:30 p.m., discovering Swain and a female passenger injured on the road.
Both victims were transported to the hospital, where Swain succumbed to his injuries.
The passenger remains in stable condition. The collision involved a car, and while the occupants of the car escaped injury, the driver exhibited no signs of impairment.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash to determine the factors contributing to this fatal incident.
