28-Year-Old Selena Salazargarcia Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Crash In Tukwila (Tukwila, WA)

A 28-year-old Federal Way woman tragically died at the hospital following a head-on crash on northbound State Route 599 in Tukwila early Monday morning. The crash occurred just before 3 a.m. near Interurban Avenue, leading to the closure of all northbound lanes for nearly 5 hours. 

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the woman, identified as Selena Salazargarcia, was driving a 2006 Nissan Maxima southbound when it crossed the center median, rolled into the northbound lanes, and collided head-on with a 2022 Toyota Highlander.

The WSP confirmed that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. The driver of the Highlander, a 56-year-old man, was also hospitalized for injuries.
