28-year-old Alex J Bullard dead after a motorcycle crash on Highway 305 (Kitsap County, WA)

Authorities identified 28-year-old Alex J Bullard, from Bremerton, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Highway 305.

As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash took place on Highway 305, west of the Agate Pass Bridge shortly before 1:30 a.m. The preliminary investigation showed that Alex J Bullard was driving a KTM 390 motorcycle southbound while a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan, driven by a 64-year-old Mountlake Terrace man, was traveling northbound.

The vehicle failed to yield and turned in front of Bullard. The motorcycle collided with the side of the van, and both vehicles ended up on the southbound lane of Highway 305. The driver and the passengers in the van, a 72-year-old Shoreline man and an 80-year-old Mountlake Terrace woman were transported by ambulance to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale.

On the other hand, Bullard suffered major injuries and was declared deceased at the scene by the officials. Officials said that he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. No other details are made available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
