According to the Lufkin Police, a motorcycle accident occurred in Lufkin on Thursday morning.
The crash happened on Old Union road at around 5:30 a.m.
The officials stated that a GMC pickup was involved in the collision. The victim was hit head-on by the driver of the vehicle.
24-year-old Hunter Thompson was identified as the victim suffering major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 35-year-old Cesar David Del Villar Casillas and was taken into custody for intoxication and manslaughter.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
