On Monday morning, a 23-year-old man was injured following a motorcycle vs. box truck crash on Melrose Drive.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle accident took place at about 11:00 a.m. on Melrose Drive and North Drive. The early reports showed that the box truck driver made a U-turn in front of the motorcyclist and both the vehicles collided.
On arrival, officers found the motorcyclist unconscious with major injuries in the roadway. He was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. Officials believe that alcohol and drugs were not involved in the accident. No further details were provided.
