In Augusta, a tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of 22-year-old Tristan Clark from La Valle, Wisconsin, on Saturday. Clark was riding his motorcycle on Walton Way at Hickman Road when a vehicle entering Walton Way collided with him.
Despite efforts to save him, Clark succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at Wellstar MCG Hospital around 2 p.m. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
