22-Year-Old Joseph Paul Richardson Killed In A Motorcycle Crash In Beaumont (Beaumont, TX)

A fatal motorcycle wreck in Beaumont caused the closure of College Street from S. 23rd Street to Delmar Drive, but the road has since reopened. The tragic incident occurred around 4:15 p.m. at 5110 College Street and claimed the life of Joseph Paul Richardson, 22, from Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed westbound on College Street when a vehicle heading eastbound turned across the lanes from the middle turning lane.

The collision resulted in the motorcyclist being ejected. He was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. Beaumont Police have confirmed the fatality, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
