According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Tuesday in Lake Elsinore. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on Grand Avenue, near Macy Street. A motorcyclist struck a moving pickup. The motorcyclist was identified as 22-year-old Jorge Sedano Jimenez.
As a result of this, Jimenez was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The events leading up to this are not yet known at this time.
Other insights pertaining to the collision are yet to be released. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
