According to the Chandler Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Monday in Chandler. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Pennington Drive, east of Dobson Road. The deceased person was identified as 22-year-old Blaine Konrad. Konrad was driving his motorcycle when he was struck by an SUV.
As a result of this, Konrad and the SUV’s passenger sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. Konrad was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Other information pertaining to the collision remains unknown. The crash continues to be investigated by CPD.
