21-Year-Old Davon Nelson Killed In A Hit-And-Run Accident In Federal Way (Federal Way, WA)

A tragedy struck on Saturday evening in Federal Way as 21-year-old Davon Nelson lost his life in a hit-and-run accident. The Federal Way Police Department (FWPD) responded to a report the day. 

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 500 block of Southwest Dash Point Road around 7:20 p.m. Nelson, who sustained severe injuries, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center for treatment but tragically succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle responsible for the fatal crash fled the scene, leaving Nelson behind.

Both directions of Southwest Dash Point Road were closed for several hours as officers and traffic investigators worked to unravel the details of the tragic event. The FWPD continues to investigate the hit-and-run.
