20-Year-Old Zachariah Acosta Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Cathedral City (Cathedral City, CA)

The Cathedral City Police Department reported a motorcycle accident on Sunday. The accident occurred in the area of Date Palm Driver and 35th Avenue at 9.13 p.m.                 
According to the officials, the collision involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. The motorcycle was headed north on Date Palm Drive at a high speed when it was hit by a vehicle that was turning onto the same road. 

The motorcyclist was found unresponsive at the scene with major injuries. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but he succumbed to them and was pronounced dead at the scene. He has since been identified as 20-year-old Zachariah Acosta by the Riverside County coroner’s office. 

The fatal crash is still being investigated. There are no other details available at this time.
