The Surprise Police Department reported a motorcycle accident on Friday.
The accident occurred near 114th Avenue and Bell Road at night.
According to the officials, the crash was between a car and a motorcycle.
The driver of the motorcycle, identified only as a 19-year-old boy, was critically injured and rushed to the hospital. He later succumbed to his injuries.
The officials have not released any information regarding the occupants of the car.
The identities of those involved have not been disclosed.
The fatal accident is still being investigated.
The officials have reported that they believe speed to have played a role in the accident.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
