In a tragic motorcycle accident on December 13, a 19-year-old man, identified as Johvan Andres Cato Villanueva, lost his life in a motorcycle crash in Socorro. The Socorro Police Department responded to the collision around 7:25 p.m. near the intersection of Socorro Road and South Moon Road.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle was travelling west on Socorro Road at a high speed. It is believed that the motorcycle driver disregarded signals at the intersection, colliding with a passenger car.
Despite immediate medical attention, Villanueva succumbed to his injuries. The Socorro Police continue to investigate the fatal crash, and additional details will be provided as the investigation unfolds.
