Official reports state that 1 person was killed in a collision between 2 vehicles sometime on Monday.
The victim was in a 1996 white Honda Accord along with two passengers traveling north on Chastain Meadows Parkway in the left lane. A silver 2019 Honda Insight was traveling south in the right lane. Williams’ vehicle while navigating a turn, crossed into the southbound lanes into the path of the Honda Insight. The driver’s side of the Accord collided with the front of the Insight.
The driver and passenger of the Insight were not injured. The passengers in the Accord were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the collision, and request anyone with information regarding the motor-vehicle accident to contact the Cobb County Police Department at 770-499-3987.
