17-Year-Old Charles Brumit Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In Royse City (Royse City, TX)

A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Saturday evening in Royse City, where a motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a barrier on the eastbound lanes of I-30 at the exit to FM 2642.

The victim, identified as 17-year-old Charles Brumit from Joshua, was rushed to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead, according to police reports. Authorities suggest that a sizable group of motorcycles was traveling together on I-30 and taking the exit to FM 2642 when Brumit’s motorcycle collided with the barrier, resulting in his ejection.

While the investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing, it is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
