One person suffered injuries following a two-vehicle accident on Sunday in Spanaway.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash was reported at 7:51 p.m. on southbound State Route 7 at Pirnie Road East, not far from the Super Walmart. The early reports showed that a vehicle driven by a suspected impaired individual crashed into the motorcycle.
On arrival, emergency personnel rushed the rider to a nearby hospital in serious condition. The driver of the car was taken into custody for driving under the influence. The southbound left lane and center lane were shut down as crews worked at the scene. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
