A tragic accident in Phoenix has claimed the life of one man and left another fighting for survival. According to authorities, the crash occurred near the intersection of 23rd Avenue and Happy Valley Road around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The collision, involving two vehicles, resulted in serious injuries for both drivers. Regrettably, one of them succumbed to his injuries in the multi-vehicle accident, while the other was rushed to a nearby trauma hospital in critical condition after being extricated from his car.
Additionally, a third individual in a separate vehicle was assessed for injuries but declined hospitalization. Phoenix police have closed roads in the area as detectives probe the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
The identities of the deceased and injured have yet to be disclosed. Further details are anticipated to be released Sunday night or Monday morning.
