Vancouver police are investigating two fatal crashes this week involving a pedestrian and a motorcyclist. The first incident occurred Tuesday night, with a pedestrian fatally hit by a car on Northeast 134th Avenue and Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard.

The driver, initially unaware, later reported hitting something but didn’t see it. The second crash happened Friday night on Main Street, where a speeding motorcyclist ran a red light and collided with a Dodge truck.

The impact resulted in the motorcyclist’s death, with witnesses estimating a speed of 70 to 80 mph in a 20 mph zone. The victims’ identities are pending as VPD continues its investigations.
