The Glendale Police Department reported a motorcycle crash on Saturday morning. The accident happened close to 61st and Oliver Avenues at around 6:30 p.m.
The collision involved a motorcycle and a car. According to investigators, the motorbike rider was on Olive Avenue when a car turning left onto 61st Avenue struck them.
When police arrived, they found an injured motorbike rider and made attempts to save his life.
The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where he passed away later. There were no injuries to the car’s driver.
As crews clear the fatal crash scene and conduct an investigation, Olive Avenue between 59th and 63rd Avenues will be closed. No anticipated time for reopening has been given.
