The Austin-Travis Emergency Medical Services reported a motorcycle accident in West Travis County on Sunday night. The accident occurred near the intersection of Highway 71 and Bee Caves Road at around 8:20 p.m.
According to the officials, a motorcycle was involved in the collision. The number of vehicles involved in the crash is not clear at this time. The events leading up to the collision have not been disclosed.
At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been disclosed at this time.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
