Houston police are probing a fatal motorcycle accident that transpired on Tuesday night. Reports indicate that a motorcycle rider was traveling eastbound on Allen Parkway at a high speed when they lost control and crossed over the median.
The motorcyclist collided with an SUV traveling westbound on the same road and was pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the occupants of the SUV escaped unharmed. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. Investigations into the fatal crash are underway as authorities seek to understand the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
