According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle accident occurred in Baytown on Sunday.
The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the East Freeway at Spur 330/Decker Road.
According to the investigators, an unknown motorcycle and an unknown person were involved in the collision. The officials stated that the motorcycle driver was speeding, lost control, and crashed into a guard rail.
The unknown driver suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead following the collision. The Baytown Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unidentified deceased person.
The accident is still being investigated. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
