A fatal collision occurred on Buford Dam Road and Garrett Road in Buford on Monday, resulting in one fatality. Gwinnett County police are conducting an investigation into the crash, which appeared to involve one vehicle turning left in front of another.
The spokesperson for the department stated that they were still determining which driver was at fault. The victim’s identity has not yet been released. In light of the accident, drivers have been advised to utilize alternative routes such as Jimmy Dodd Road and Sycamore Road.
The authorities continue their investigation. It is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
