According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported in Santa Barbara.

Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred in the 4200 block of Marine Drive.

A man riding a motorcycle collided with a US Postal Service Truck while attempting to turn left.

As a result of this, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.

Other insights into the collision including the identity of the deceased motorcyclist remain unknown.

Speed is considered to be one of the reasons that might have caused the wreck.

The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
