According to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday night in San Tan Valley. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near Gary Road and Silver Streak. The driver of a pickup attempted to turn left and overtake a motorcyclist. Subsequently, he struck the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The identity of the motorcyclist is pending determination.
Other details pertaining to the accident are yet to be released. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. The crash continues to be investigated by the PCSO.
