According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Houston.
Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred near Spur 330. The motorcycle hit the railing of an 18-wheeler.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The passenger in the motorcycle was rushed by Life Flight to a nearby hospital. No further details including the identity of the victim or the descriptions of the vehicles involved have been revealed yet.
The cause of the wreck remains unknown. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. The crash continues to be investigated by the HCSO.
