1 Person Killed In A Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Houston (Houston, TX)

According to the Houston Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Thursday morning in Houston. Authorities confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident. Officials stated that the collision occurred in the 1500 block of South Shepherd Drive near West Gray Street.

A man was riding an electric bike southbound when he was struck by a vehicle. This resulted in the man losing control of his bike and going over the curb. He finally came to a stop on the sidewalk.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. It remains unclear if the motorcyclist was hit by the vehicle or if he suffered from a medical emergency as there the bike did not sustain any damages. The identity of the man has not been disclosed by the authorities. 

The crash continues to be investigated by the HPD.
