1 Person Killed In A Fatal Motorcycle Crash In Austin (Austin, TX)

According to the Austin Police Department, a fatal crash was reported on Saturday in Austin.

Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motorcycle accident.

Authorities stated that the collision occurred southbound on the Mopac Expressway.

A pickup truck crashed into a guard rail which caused debris to fly across the road.

A motorcycle driving southbound hit the debris which resulted in making the motorcycle fall.

The motorcyclist was ejected onto the road and they were struck by another truck.

The truck driver fled from the scene of the wreck.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the spot of the accident.

Other information pertaining to the accident is yet to be determined.

The crash continues to be investigated by the APD.
