1 person killed following a two-vehicle accident in Northwest Austin (Austin, TX)

One person was killed following a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening in Northwest Austin.

As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash at 9600 Research Blvd. northbound at about 8:33 p.m. The early reports showed that a vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in the collision. One adult was involved in the accident, that person was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The identity of the deceased will be released once the next of kin is notified. No other details have been provided by the authorities.

The incident remains under review.
