1 Person Injured In A Motorcycle Accident In Austin (Austin, TX)

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motorcycle accident occurred in Austin on Tuesday. 

The crash happened in the Levander Loop area near East Cesar Chavez and East 7th Streets at around 5:35 p.m. 

According to the officials, the driver of the motorcycle suffered significant injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. 

The Austin-Travis County EMS did not reveal the identity of the unknown injured motorcyclist. 

The deputies are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash. 

Some portions of the Levander Loop area near East Cesar Chavez and East 7th Street are blocked for further investigation.

No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the investigators.
