On Thursday morning, one person suffered injuries after a single-vehicle accident in Lakeway.
As per the initial information, the motorcycle crash was reported at 8:57 a.m. on Lakeway Boulevard and Scamper Cove. The early reports showed that a motorcycle smashed into a pole at the intersection for reasons that are yet to be known.
On arrival, emergency personnel declared the rider a trauma alert and rushed them to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries, but the victim is expected to survive. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
