On Sunday, the Mt. Pleasant Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash on Mt. Pleasant Mission Street. The injured motorcyclist was airlifted and taken to a hospital.
According to the Mt. Pleasant Police Department spokeswoman Autume Balcom, the unidentified man pulled out of a parking lot to make a left turn on South Mission Street near Broomfield.
The motorcyclist struck an oncoming vehicle travelling northbound on the street.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department is still investigating the identity of the motorcyclist. His initial hospitalisation was at a local hospital, and he was later airlifted to another facility.
The condition of the injured person is not known.
No additional information regarding the crash.
