Authorities responded to a pedestrian crash that claimed a life. The crash happened on the 1300 block of Gray Highway.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the pedestrian was walking in the left lane when he was struck by a pickup truck driven by a 42-year-old Milledgeville man.
Following the first collision, the pedestrian was also struck by a motorcycle driven by a 27-year-old man.
The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene.
The 27-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Atrium Health and is reported in stable condition.
An investigation into the crash is underway. Anyone with information regarding the wreck is urged to call the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
