The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a motorcycle accident in Bulloch County near Brooklet that left a person dead.
Around 10 a.m. on Monday, the crash occurred at US Highway 80 and Cody Lane intersection.
Police say the pickup pulled out into the path of the scooter going east on 80 after stopping at a stop sign. The scooter then struck the pickup.
The Scooter driver died at the scene.
It is unclear what caused the crash.
The victim’s name has not been shared by Georgia State Patrol.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
