1 person dead after a motorcycle crash on I-40 in Memphis (Memphis, TN)

On Saturday evening, one person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Memphis.

As per the initial information, officers quickly responded to the area of I-40 West and Chelsea Avenue a little after 5 p.m. in response to a motorcycle crash. The early reports showed that a motorcycle and a Sedan were involved in the collision.

The motorcycle rider suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. The identity of the deceased will be revealed once the next of kin is notified. No other details are immediately available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
